There is an actual cover system in the game, and overall the fights are much improved over the first game. The guns are all fun, though the pistols pretty much all seem the same power, even the magnum (and the magnum sound a little goofy, like a cartoon gun). The map is actually displayed in the radar instead of the lame "map" that's in the first game. The driving is a HUGE improvement over the first game, the cars feel like real cars would from the 40s that is spongey suspension and sluggish acceleration, this is not bad design, it's how the actual cars behaved back then.

I'm not going to list any spoilers but I do feel like this plot is decent, the voice acting is pretty good for the most part, the in-car conversations are pretty humorous a lot of the time. Each section of the city feels different, China-town feels different than Little Italy. The open world nature of this game is not the same as GTA, which to me is a good thing, there aren't a million half-assed mini-games to play. The arsenal of weapons has not undergone changes, unlike collectibles, new Playboy magazines and paintings have been added to them. The game's plot like is basically a mixture of the Godfather, and Goodfellas, you're a war hero, come back from the war and fall into a life The game's plot like is basically a mixture of the Godfather, and Goodfellas, you're a war hero, come back from the war and fall into a life of crime with your friend. Skirmishes are performed using cover and auto-regeneration of health, which greatly simplifies skirmishes with numerous bandits. The player needs to get to the task by car and leave it, and the plot itself is linear and the gamer has no chance of influencing it in any way. Also, "Joe's Adventure", will show why Vito got a prison sentence. There are many crimes behind them, and the protagonist himself will be involved in some of them. Also, this addition will show why you should not trust mafia families, no matter what, and this will be done on the example of the Clemente clan. Now a lot of serious problems hung on the shoulders of the stocky Joe, who was now on his own.

Great attention will be paid to the fact that Joe was left without a best friend who is always ready to cover his back and help solve all the cases. This story develops in parallel with the plot of the game Mafia 2, during the imprisonment of Vito Scaletta. The comrades are Vito Scaletta (the main character of the main game) and Joe Barbaro, who constantly flickers in the story campaign of the second part, but for whom they did not provide the opportunity to play on their own. Joe's adventure - the third addition from the DLC series to the cult game Mafia 2 - a third-person shooter with an open world and a fascinating story about two friends who got involved in the criminal affairs of the mafia and began to earn credibility in the circles of large clans, who ruled almost everything in those post-war times.
